Aurora James, the mastermind behind the wonderful brand of Brother Vellies, has created true art in shoe form. Each shoe is thoughtfully produced using ethical and sustainable practices, and of course, is meant to be an item you invest in and keep in your wardrobe for years.
Her bags and shoes are an investment, and if you buy her pieces, then you’re supporting artisans based in South Africa, Ethiopia, Kenya and Morocco where they’re able to maintain the spirit and durability of their ancestral counterparts through the work for Brother Vellies.
The Swedish clothes brand, Filippa K, was founded in 1993 by Filippa Knutsson and Patrik Kihlborg in Stockholm, Sweden. Each collection has simplicity and quality at its core, with a constant sense of understated elegance and soft minimalism that is meant to be long lasting.

House of Sunny is a sustainable independent womenswear label based in East London, focused on creating everyday staples for the modern woman. Created in 2011, quality is at the forefront of the brand, whilst also ensuring affordability is never sacrificed to achieve this.

Bite Studios was founded in 2016 and was created solely for the gap in the market for a sustainable yet aesthetic label. The garments are designed and crafted in London, being completely London-made, using artisanal practices and methods to bring about their timeless pieces.
It is a sustainable womenswear brand, where each piece is hand crafted, designed and sculpted so that the wearer has the perfect fit. Their materials consist of the highest quality, whilst also being sustainable, as they stay true to their ethical ethos.
Stine Goya established her namesake brand in Copenhagen, Denmark in 2006. The label strives to be transparent to their customers in regards to their commitment to sustainability and social responsibility - implementing a consistent strategy to ensure the welfare of the planet.

AMUR is a clothing collection created in New York City and has sustainability at the core of its brand. Their MOTO is that great style does not have to come at the expense of the environment, and that design can strike a balance between beauty and good intentions. All materials that are used are sourced with sustainability at its centre; and their commitment to sustainability is ongoing.
Though sustainability and an ethical ethos is at the core of the brand, they want you to know that AMUR is much more than its choice to use sustainable materials. “It’s an homage to femininity, nature and the beauty of craftsmanship.”

Founded in 2007 by Gosia Piatek, Kowtow is a label committed to creating positive change.
They make a conscious decision to only use renewable and sustainable fibres and ethical manufacturing to deliver collections that are utilitarian, minimal and carry an understated sense of femininity. Their collections are made from organic, renewable, biodegradable and regenerated fibres, and are entirely committed to fair trade production. Veja is a French footwear brand known for its sustainability credentials, and seems to be one of the hottest new sneakers seen everywhere. Veja’s cruelty-free collection is made with materials such as recycled cotton and wild rubber from the Amazon rainforest. Since 2005, the footwear brand has been making sneakers differently infusing each stage of production with a positive impact, and making sure sustainability is the central focus when creating a new style.
