Ralph Lauren never shies away from his American heritage, but this collection seems to make a different statement; glitz and glamour.
The show was held at the brand’s flagship mansion on Madison Avenue and guests observed the collection from their tables, whilst seated eating a Parisienne-Theme breakfast. The attendees included Grace Coddington, Karlie Kloss, Virginia Smith and Jessica Jung, all showing their support for the designer.

Taylor Hill opened the show in a white monochromatic military number, with another 40 looks following suite. The collection kept to a colour palette, nothing outside of black, white or gold, so you needn’t worry about it not fitting in your wardrobe. Elvira Hancock would be pleased. The show closed with a floor-length gold cape, which we all need to release our inner prima donna. Though Ralph Lauren designs for the established, sophisticated lady-boss, he still knows how to put on a show in our books.
