Spring is right around the corner, and you know what that means; the beginning of warmer weather and longer daylight hours and the blossoming of flowers. Of course, this is unless you live in the UK. Our spring is essentially a bit warmer than our winter, with the temperature no higher than 13 degrees. Aren’t you envious?
No matter where you live around the globe; whether your spring is -20 degrees of 20 degrees, this is an accessory that all of us can incorporate into our wardrobe very easily. Some use belts to accessorise, whereas some of us actually need belts because jeans never seem to fit us correctly.
Ok, but does anyone else get that issue with jeans where it fits your calves, but then is tight on your thighs and then the waistline is like 2 inches too big? Send help if not.
Chain belts were seen on runways since the 1990’s, most notably in Chanel, Versace and Moschino shows and they became a big hit tout de suite. Recently, they have made a comeback and I think its partially thanks to HRH and her bag chains. But don’t worry, you don’t have to splurge to be able to master this trend. Almost every high street store would have copied this idea by now if you can’t afford a designer one (uh, who can?), so its worth checking stores like Zara, Topshop and Asos.
