Hyper-Sophisticated Style, Enthralling Silhouettes and Coffee at The Row
One of the most anticipated collections at NYFW is always The Row. The Olsen twins who, since launching The Row in 2006, have quieted skeptics with their minimal aesthetic and immaculate quality and technique.
The brand has precipitated these sisters to the highest echelon of New York fashion and assured their place in the pantheon of The Great American Designers. Their ubiquitous influence is still very much present in the fashion industry.

Pure perfection, simple and elegant.
Fashion history has its share of legendary twins. There are the Caten brothers, Dean and Dan, who found Dsquared², an international fashion house. There are of course the Callot sisters of Callot Soeurs. And then there are the Olsen twins. Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen created monochromatic looks, like always, for their Fall 2019 collection. A fascinating introspection of oversized neutral coats and high collared sweaters, with an impeccable intervention of silhouettes and cuts.
Jo Ellison, who was in attendance to the FW19 show said", “A @therow show, with its essential hallmarks, such as the coffee for the guests, the mid-century furnishings, the ornamental geodes around the show space, not to mention seeing the designers walking among us, in real life, like seeing a unicorn, is a seasonal highlight... In fact, I’ve often thought that the Olsens’ dedication to the coffee bean is so diligent they should open a café called The Rowsted. They could serve everything in giant compostable branded cups, and offer not a scrap of food.”
