Jacquemus’ Rosa high-waisted wool shorts first made an appearance on the brand’s Spring/Summer 2019 runway show and since then they’ve been sold out and every major retailer.
The designer, Simon Porte Jacquemus is a French fashion designer and the founder of the Jacquemus fashion label which he found back in 2009 at just 19 years old. Celebrating his 10 year anniversary this June, the brand only seems to be growing with a whooping 1.3 million Instagram followers and has easily become a cult favourite.
These ultra high and ultra bright, Jacquemus' 'Rosa' shorts are crafted from a mini-length, rolled hem. The shorts feature a high-waist and single pleat detailing at the front and there is a concealed hook-and-zip fastening at front.
Since their initial runway release, they have been worn by many influencers and socialites in the fashion world, which means their €430 price tag isn’t a dealbreaker. I mean, don’t we all have that money to spend on a single pair of shorts? Of course we do!
