Season after Season, Alessandro Michele continues to amaze us through the fantasy world he has created at Gucci since his arrival in 2015. Once again, for the Fall Ready-to-wear 2019 collection throughout Milan Fashion Week, Alessandro has shown his talent.

Despite the fact that the walls of the set were completely covered with 120,000 led lights, the creepy atmosphere and the models holding their sneakers, the entire Fall 2019 collection was all about appeareances. Alessandro Michele teleported us directly to French king Louis XVI court with this overexposure of masks from different horizons.

At the court of Louis XVI or Alessandro’s, here, the members of the high society get bored of their luxurious lives and decided to put their masks on, and play a role in the dark play of Gucci. This collection was definitely part of the psychedelic culture, which consists in finding your true self, to analyze yourself inside and go deeper of your being and that is what embodies this collection with all these masks who represent the duplicity of the society and the lack of authenticity…
