To prepare yourself for the show, Nicola Ghesquière has chosen the actress : Indya Moore to be the muse and your host at Louis Vuitton for Paris Fashion Week.
For the last show of Paris Fashion Week, Nicolas has decided to set his collection at the Louvres, in where the world known museum Centre Pompidou has been recreated inside it, to remind us that this place is a center of emergence in where people are free to be themselves.
This collection was very Ghesquière with his recognizable Parisian typical shoulders, leather checked pattern skirts, sleeveless oversized jackets, layer of materials, structured blazers, 80’s references, whimsical ruffles, glitters, structured coats, chivalrous dresses and diversified colour palette.
Everything was made to strike the audience, to make people react about this youth, fresh and audacious collection in which Nicolas Ghesquière wanted to recreate the mix of cultures that Pompidou has. — The atmosphere, the show and the clothes were all about being avant-garde, but also to include and embrace what was already done in the past.
